Manhattan Crosswalks Series
There is a beautiful compromise that exists between vehicle and pedestrian within the intersections of streets. Crosswalks create a fascinating backdrop where the choreography and actors are constantly changing and there can never be a repeat performance. Each moment captured within an intersection is unique and ephemeral. This is why, though sometimes blurry or out of focus, each image still captures an unrepeatable moment and is therefor of interest to me.
This series documents intersections and streets in and around the city of Manhattan. It was photographed over the course of two days.
